ADSS expands legal team with new hires in the Middle East

Abu Dhabi based financial services company ADSS – which recently rebranded from ADS Securities – has announced that it is strengthening its legal team as further international regulations come into force. The company said that the firm’s commitment to good governance and compliance across all the jurisdictions in which it operates is an essential part of its business model.

ADSS said that it is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Pippel, who joins the firm from State Street, Germany, where he worked as Senior Legal Counsel for the last five years. Christoph has 14+ years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance, restructuring, and Global Markets products across multiple jurisdictions in Europe, Middle East and APAC.

ADSS will also welcome Hannah Chow, an Australian qualified lawyer with extensive experience working on general commercial, corporate, IP, technology, media, regulatory and compliance matters. Hannah’s expertise is in handling cross border transactional, commercial, IP and technology related matters in emerging markets with sector experience in banking and finance.  She started her career in Australian law firms practicing in general commercial work and then moved to in-house practice after relocating to Singapore in 2008.  Hannah was previously Legal Counsel at CNBC, and worked on secondments at Standard Chartered Bank and Goldman Sachs.

Yousef Abu Sabah ADSS

Finally, Yousef Abu Sabah, a Jordanian qualified lawyer will join the team. Yousef holds a BA in law from the University of Jordan, a Masters Degree in Arbitration from Ahlyya Ammam University and a Masters Degree in International Corporate Finance Law from Reading University, UK. Yousef trained and practised as a corporate lawyer at Dajani & Associates Attorneys & Legal Consultants in Jordan from April 2012 to June 2016 and most recently has been a freelance legal adviser.
