Geneva based Retail Forex broker Dukascopy Bank is warning that there is a clone of the company’s site operating from dukascopi.com.
This website pretends to offer Forex, CFD and commodities trading from Switzerland at almost same address as Dukascopy Bank. The clone is showing a “Main Office” address of Route de Pre-Bois 22, ICC, Entrance, Geneva 15, Switzierland 1212 (they forgot to mention the Entrance number, and misspelled “Switzerland” on their website). The real Dukascopy’s address is Route de Pre-Bois 20, ICC, Entrance H, 1215 Geneva 15, Switzerland.
The real Dukascopy is, of course, a properly FINMA licensed and regulated Swiss Bank.
A Dukascopy spokesperson has informed LeapRate that management is taking steps to try and take down the clone website. However, with the anonymity of the web, it is often hard to do so, even in cases as blatant as this.
