Further to LeapRate’s announcement that ISAM, the alternative asset management firm which was established by Lord Stanley Fink in 2008 has moved into the FX prime brokerage business with the launch of IS Prime, some exciting new talent is coming on board.
In this case, the new talent takes the form of one of London’s most prominent institutional FX senior executives, Jonathan Brewer, along with his former colleague Raj Sitlani.
Mr. Brewer previously held the position of Head of eFX Sales at Sucden Financial, where he had a five year tenure in this leadership role being responsible for eFX strategy within one of the world’s longest established commodities businesses, as well as liquidity management, vendor management and premium account management.
Prior to assuming his role at Sucden Financial, Mr. Brewer spent four years at Goldman Sachs as an Associate following his alma mater at University of Edinburgh where he gained an Honors degree in Economics and History.
ISAM’s new IS Prime business will be jointly led by Mr. Brewer, along with Raj Sitlani, who was previously Global Head of Institutional Sales and a member of the executive committee, and was responsible for the deployment of several multi-asset class electronic trading platforms.
IS Prime will only target institutional investors – retail brokers, asset managers, regional banks, hedge funds and family offices – with a range of services including traditional and non-traditional liquidity, prime of prime brokerage and access to risk management solutions. The firm will provide uniquely flexible solutions which will be tailored to each individual client’s needs.
Whereas Mr. Sitlani’s role at Sucden Financial was more cross-product, Mr. Brewer was very much involved in driving the eFX business forward, with both playing an instrumental part in the growth and success of Sucden Financial’s eFX business.
