TradeStation Securities has expanded its cryptocurrency derivatives offering by adding CME Group’s newly launched XRP futures contracts to its platform, the company announced on Tuesday.
TradeStation Adds CME’s New XRP Futures Contracts to Platform
The brokerage firm said it will offer eligible clients both micro-sized (2,500 XRP) and large-sized (50,000 XRP) contracts, providing traders with flexible, capital-efficient tools to gain exposure to XRP.
“As demand for regulated crypto derivatives continues to grow, TradeStation Securities is committed to providing traders with direct access to high-demand crypto derivative products through the regulated futures market,” said James Putra, senior vice president and head of product management at TradeStation Group.
The new XRP contracts are cash-settled and based on the CME CF XRP-Dollar Reference Rate, which is published daily at 4:00 p.m. London time.
The addition follows TradeStation’s recent rollout of other CME Group products, including micro-sized grain, oilseed, and Micro WTI Crude Oil futures.
“We are pleased that TradeStation Securities is providing its broad client base with access to our XRP futures suite,” said Giovanni Vicioso, global head of cryptocurrency products at CME Group.
