ATFX Connect, the institutional arm of ATFX, has appointed Professor Trevor Williams as its consultant economist, bolstering its offering of macroeconomic insights to institutional clients.

The firm said that Williams will provide economic commentary and strategic analysis to strengthen the firm’s thought leadership and equip clients with a deeper understanding of a rapidly changing global economy.
A well-known figure in financial circles, Williams served as chief economist at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking for more than a decade.
He is also the rotating chairman of the Institute of Economic Affairs’ Shadow Monetary Policy Committee, a group of independent economists offering alternative perspectives on UK monetary policy.
