Paul Townsend joins Saxo Payments’ Board as Non-Exec Director

Saxo Payments, founded by multi-asset investment and trading services expert Saxo Bank in 2013, today announced the appointment of Paul Townsend as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Townsend brings with him 15 years of experience in the electronic payments sector and more than 20 years of expertise in mainstream banking.

At present, Mr Townsend is MD of Vitesse PSP which he founded in 2013. His e-commerce payments experience includes the role of Chief Strategy Officer at Worldpay where he was part of the e-commerce senior management team as well as a member of the company’s senior leadership team. He is also a founder and COO of Envoy Services, established in 2005, as well as an angel investor.
