1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of LeapRate.com (“the site”), including its editorial content, broker directory, newsletter, and all related services. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The site is operated by Finaffiliates Limited (“LeapRate”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14540579, with its registered office at 80 Grove Lane, Holt, England, NR25 6ED.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2. What LeapRate Is — and Is Not

LeapRate is an independent financial news and information site covering the forex, CFD, and online trading industry. Our broker directory provides factual listings and user reviews of trading service providers.

LeapRate does not provide financial advice. Nothing published on this site — whether editorial content, directory listings, broker profiles, reviews, comparisons, or any other material — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to trade, or an endorsement of any broker, platform, or financial product. All trading and investment decisions are made at your own risk.

LeapRate is not a regulated financial services firm. We do not intermediate, facilitate, or process trades. We do not hold client funds. We are a media and directory business.

3. User Accounts

Certain features — including submitting directory listings, writing reviews, and managing listing subscriptions — require a registered account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted under your account. You must notify us promptly at info@leaprate.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these terms.

4. Directory Listings

The LeapRate broker directory allows trading industry businesses to create and maintain public profiles. Listings are subject to the following conditions:

  • Accuracy: Listing owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of information in their profiles, including regulatory status, fees, platforms, and all other fields. Misleading or false information may result in listing removal without refund.
  • Compliance: Listing owners must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction, including financial services licensing requirements. A listing on LeapRate does not constitute endorsement or verification of regulatory status.
  • Content rights: By submitting a directory listing, you grant Finaffiliates Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute the listing content on LeapRate.com and in related marketing materials (such as newsletters and social media) for as long as the listing remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter for archival purposes.
  • Paid plans: Directory listings are offered across multiple pricing tiers. Specific features, limitations, and pricing are set out on our Pricing Plans page and in the Directory Listing Terms, which form part of these terms.
  • Removal: We reserve the right to remove or refuse any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that contain false information, promote unlicensed financial services, or otherwise violate these terms. See the Directory Listing Terms for full details.

5. Reviews and User-Submitted Content

LeapRate allows registered users to submit reviews and ratings of directory-listed brokers. By submitting a review, you agree that:

  • Your review reflects your genuine, honest experience or opinion.
  • You have no undisclosed financial interest, employment relationship, or competitive motive relating to the broker you are reviewing.
  • Your review does not contain defamatory, abusive, obscene, or illegal content.
  • You grant Finaffiliates Limited a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and moderate your review on LeapRate.com.

We moderate reviews but do not verify the identity of reviewers or the accuracy of individual claims. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these terms, appear fraudulent, or are the subject of a valid legal complaint. See our Review and Ratings Policy for full moderation criteria.

6. Intellectual Property

All editorial content, design, code, logos, and trademarks on LeapRate.com are the property of Finaffiliates Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, or republish LeapRate content without prior written permission, except for brief quotations with attribution for journalistic or academic purposes, in accordance with fair dealing under UK copyright law.

Broker logos, trademarks, and brand assets displayed in directory listings remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed under licence or fair use for identification purposes.

7. Advertising and Sponsored Content

LeapRate carries display advertising, sponsored content, and paid directory placements. All sponsored or paid content is clearly labelled as such. See our Editorial Independence and Disclosures Policy for details on how we maintain separation between commercial and editorial functions.

The presence of advertising or a paid directory listing does not constitute an endorsement by LeapRate. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of advertisers.

8. Third-Party Links

LeapRate contains links to third-party websites, including broker platforms, regulatory bodies, and news sources. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites. Clicking a link to a third-party site is at your own discretion and risk.

Some outbound links may be affiliate links that generate a commission for Finaffiliates Limited. Where this applies, it is disclosed in accordance with our Disclosures Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • LeapRate is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability.
  • Finaffiliates Limited is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, reliance on its content, or interactions with brokers or other third parties found through the directory.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Finaffiliates Limited, its directors, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these terms, your use of the site, or any content you submit (including directory listings and reviews).

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in listings, reviews, or forms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, user accounts, or our systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the site without written permission.
  • Interfere with the site’s operation or infrastructure.
  • Use automated tools to submit listings, reviews, or forms.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, without prior notice.

12. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the site or by email to registered users. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Directory Listing Terms, and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Finaffiliates Limited regarding your use of LeapRate.com.
