Japan’s Invast Securities to launch theme investment, ETF services

The new services are set to be added to the offering of the Japanese online trading group in the spring of 2016.

A note from Invast Securities Co., Ltd. (TYO:8709), the Japanese online trading group, which has just unveiled plans to markedly bolster its offering.

Two new services are set to join the lineup in the spring of 2015, with the focus to fall on equities investment.

The first service is ETF trading, which will be available on Invast’s Tri Auto platform.

The second is a theme investment platform, which will enable traders to invest in broader themes and market trends. Often, themes span across multiple sectors, thus enabling investors to tap vaster trends.

The announcement from Invast comes as the interest in services like theme trading is obviously growing. Earlier this month, Swissquote Bank Ltd officially released Swissquote Themes Trading.

Invast Financial Services, the Australian division of Japan’s Invast Securities, already launched its thematic investment platform in May this year. Invast Securities plans to use the experience of its Australian business in this regard and to adapt the service to the Japanese market.
