CySEC issues CIF license to binary options firm Daweda Exchange

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced that it has issued a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) license to Daweda Exchange Ltd.

The license was issued on January 11, 2016 and is the first CIF permission granted by the Cypriot financial watchdog for 2016.

Worth noting is that the license has yet to be activated. Under CySEC rules, the activation requires passing a set of rigorous checks and meeting extra requirements. Ahead of a license activation, no investment company is officially permitted to offer its services in Cyprus.

Daweda Exchange’s Facebook page says the firm is engaged in offering binary options services. The access to the website of the company (www.daweda.com), however, is currently limited.
