North American futures clearing firm Advantage Futures has just announced the launch of a new addition to the Education section on its corporate website. The Market Knowledge Center offers an in-depth insight into the latest information concerning futures markets. The new service is powered by derivatives marketplace CME Group.
The Market Knowledge Center is really intuitive in its design. First off, one gets to spot the Market Snapshot which offers price charts for the most traded futures, with detailed information easily obtainable by clicking on the designated links.
Next up is the Quote Board, which summarizes all necessary info for dozens of futures contracts, including open prices, price change, volume, and exchange margin. For every trading instrument there is a variety of charts available, so that one can analyze the market in full detail. Newbies to this sort of trading will feel welcome, as there is a concise explanation for every instrument featured in the Quote Board.
The Charts and Quotes update regularly, with a delay of no more than 10 minutes possible.
Finally, the new service offers an aggregator entitled Market News and Analysis, whereby anyone can gain access to the latest information on FX, Equity Indices, Metals, Agriculture, Energy, and Interest Rates, with an Economic Calendar to boot.
The launch of the Market Knowledge Center makes a nice addition to the Education services that Advantage Futures provides. The group has been steadily growing its business, with these efforts reflected in increasing trade volumes. In September, the broker surpassed the milestone of 3 billion contracts. The achievement happened several months after Advantage acquired all futures accounts of Institutional Liquidity LLC.
