Marex Spectron ups working capital facility to $115 million as Barclays increases commitment

Marex Spectron launches Marex Financial Products structured note business

Global commodities broker Marex Spectron has announced that it has increased the size of its working capital facility from $105 million to $115 million, with the Barclay’s Bank unit of Barclays PLC (ADR) (NYSE:BCS) increasing the size of its commitment from $15 million to $25 million.

Alongside Barclays Bank, the other participants in the facility are Lloyds Bank, Bank Leumi UK, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (ICBC) and Allied Irish Bank (AIB).

In May, Marex Spectron announced the syndication of its new $105 million working capital facility, increased in size from the company’s previous $65 million facility.
