The Board of UK online trading leader IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG) has just announced that it has appointed Robert Michael (Mike) McTighe as Chairman of the Board. Jonathan Moulds will continue to serve as interim Chairman until 3 February 2020 when Mike McTighe’s appointment takes effect.
Mike McTighe is the Chairman of Openreach Limited, Together Financial Services Limited, and Arran Isle Limited. He spent most of his executive career at Cable and Wireless, Philips, Motorola, and GE. For over 20 years he has held various non-executive director roles in a range of regulated and unregulated industries whilst also spending eight years on the board of Ofcom and one year on the board of Postcomm.Â
