About two weeks after Spain’s financial markets watchdog CNMV issued a warning against FX broker Financika and two binary options brokers – Safeklik and BK Trading, the Spanish regulator adds one more binary options broker to its list of unauthorized investment companies.
The Commission today warned against Empireoption.com, a binary options broker that targets clients across the globe, but does not offer any details about any licenses or even physical address(es).
The CNMV notes that this company is not authorised to provide the investment services, including investment advice, in relation to financial instruments like Forex.
Spain’s CNMV is not the first regulator in Europe to warn against Empireoption.com. France’s AMF included the broker in its “Black List” of unauthorized binary options providers early in 2014.
