Forex consultancy Shift Forex, which is running its annual FXIC New York FX industry conference on Friday (more on that in a recent LeapRate interview with Shift Forex CEO Ian McAfee), has announced the addition of Wayne Roworth in London. Roworth was most recently Chief Dealer at FxPro, and before that was in the trading group at CMC Markets for more than a decade.
At Shift, Roworth is charged with not just opening a London office but with heading Shift’s Liquidity Services practice. Shift provides operational expertise and vendor analysis, enabling liquidity providers to effectively distribute their services, and brokerages to optimize their liquidity sourcing.
The firm recently entered into a joint venture with Citadel Securities, with a mandate to distribute a new wholesale liquidity offering of Citadel. Citadel partnered with Shift to design, distribute and support its FX liquidity and execution services to brokerages globally.
