The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has earlier today posted its trading metrics for December 2015 and the full 2015, with derivatives trading volumes delivering a positive piece of news by registering a sharp rise.
The Exchange reported that derivatives trading volumes averaged 281,079 contracts per day in December 2015, a reading that is 87.5% higher than in November 2015. Looking at annual metrics, we see that for the whole year of 2015, derivatives trading volume averaged 199,749 contracts per day, up 35.86% year on year.
