Plus500 updates on cancellation of shares trading on AIM

Retail Forex and CFD broker Plus500 Ltd (LON:PLUS) has just issued an update regarding its planned delisting from AIM, which is conditional on the completion of the acquisition of the company by Playtech PLC (LON:PTEC).

As announced earlier, regulatory decisions on the proposed deal are taking longer than expected. Further to this announcement, Plus500 confirms that cancellation of admission of its shares to trading on AIM is expected to incur a corresponding delay.

The statutorily required regulatory assessment of the deal should be completed by the end of November 2015. Playtech and Plus500, however, remain hopeful for a completion of the process in October 2015.
