Lightspeed Trading announces membership on the newly formed Investors Exchange


New York and Chicago based Lightspeed Trading announced today it will be one of the initial members of the newly formed Investors Exchange (IEX) and was featured by Barron’s in an article titled Flash Boys Site Becomes a Stock Exchange.

Investors Exchange (IEX), the trading venue that claims to remove any advantages a high-frequency trader might have over other investors, became a fully operational stock exchange on last Friday and will finally have a chance to prove its mettle.

Three online brokers catering to retail customers—TradeStation, Interactive Brokers, and Lightspeed Trading have signed on as initial members.
