KCG Holdings, Inc. Class A (NYSE:KCG) has published its April 2016 trading volume stats, showing flat activity in equity market making and a down month in its bond business.
In Market Making, KCG averaged $26.0 billion dollar volume traded, 5.0 billion shares traded, and 3.6 million trades per day in U.S. equities.
In Global Execution Services:
- KCG Institutional Equities averaged 218.8 million U.S. equity shares traded per day
- KCG BondPoint averaged $192.3 million fixed income par value traded per day
As for the overall market conditions in April, consolidated U.S. equity volume averaged $257.4 billion in dollar volume and 7.1 billion shares traded per day. The realized volatility for the S&P 500 was 10.3.
