Italy’s financial regulator Consob has earlier today updated its list of companies that are not authorized to offer investment services to Italian residents but nevertheless do so. The latest additions to the warning list include two Forex brokers – Simple Trading (aka Simple Trade) and Lau Global Services (aka MXTrade).
The regulator says that:
- Lau Global Services Corporation is not authorized to offer investment and related services in Italy in any way, including via the website www.mxtrade.com.
- Simple Trading Corporation Limited is not authorized to offer investment and related services in Italy in any way, including via the website www.simpletradelimited.com.
Regarding Simple Trading Corporation Limited, its website claims that the company is a registered financial services provider in New Zealand, but LeapRate’s check has shown that the company was deregistered on August 13, 2015, with the deregistration directed by the Financial Markets Authority.
