FXCM releases long awaited update to Trading Station Mobile app

It has been quite a journey for FXCM Inc (NYSE:FXCM)… And users of the Trading Station mobile application have been aware of the reasons for the broker not updating its mobile apps since January 2015. It was in late January last year, that the company released an update to Trading Station Mobile and after that the company’s attention got focused on repaying a  $300 million loan, selling non-core businesses… Who would care about enhancing a mobile app in such circumstances?

That is why, May 2016 brought a piece of good news to FXCM clients who are also eager to trade on the go, as FXCM has finally released updates to its Trading Station Mobile application for both Android and iOS devices.

The formal enhancement is only one – it has to do with CFDs. The app now offers support for CFD instrument decimalization.

Hopefully, this first update after such a long pause marks only the first step in a series of updates. Time will tell.

FXCM Trading Station Mobile offers trading Forex and CFD instruments (CFDs are available only in certain countries). Traders get access to live exchange rates, interactive Candlestick, Bar and Line Charts, Built in Chart Indicators, Trend Lines and Fibonacci. They can stream market news and research, make use of a real-time built-in market moving Economic Calendar. Users of the app can also place and manage trades with simple and complex, basic and advanced orders types.

The application is available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, and Turkish.
