Former Saxo Bank Senior executive Morten Fillipsen founds Asia-centric Juno Markets

After a seven year tenure in senior management at Saxo Bank, Morten Fillipsen has founded Juno Markets and assumed the position of co-CEO.

Juno Capital Markets is based in the Asia Pacific region, and congruently is Asia focused. Mr. Fillipsen has significant experience in FX, having joined Saxo Bank as Head of Private Business in the capacity of Senior Vice President in June 2007, a post that he held for six and a half years at the firm’s headquarters in Denmark before becoming Head of China Region for Saxo Bank in December 2013 in Shanghai.

In previous roles which include a four year tenure at Danish online bank and trading firm Nykredit as Head of Sales, Mr. Fillipsen has been involved with setting up new sales offices, including establishing a new organization in Hong Kong to target the Chinese speaking markets under the sub-brand of Forextrading.com, and subsequently managing the entire Forextrading.com organization spanning 3 geographic locations and 60+ people. He has also held roles within sales management, web marketing and corporate affairs.
