Former Alpari UK Global Head of Marketing Hannah Hill moves to eToro to head brand marketing

After two years at Alpari UK during which her career grew exponentially, Hannah Hill has moved to eToro to assume the position of Head of Brand Marketing.

London-based Ms Hill joined eToro this month. the latest in a line of former Alpari UK executives to seek pastures new, bringing with her extensive knowledge gained from senior marketing positions among London’s FX and CFD firms.

Joining Alpari UK in May 2012 as Senior Campaigns Planner, Ms Hill progressed very shortly afterwards to Marketing Manager, and was promoted in May last year to Global Head of Marketing before leaving the company in January 2015, the same month in which Alpari UK declared insolvency as a result of exposure to negative client balances caused by the Swiss National Bank’s removal of the 1.20 peg on the EURCHF pair.

Prior to joining Alpari UK, Ms Hill spent one and a half years at London Capital Group Holdings plc (LON:LCG) as Assistant Marketing Manager, a position which she assumed in February 2011 after spending six years at CMC Markets in London.

At CMC Markets, Ms Hill was initially Senior Communications Executive in November 2006, before being promoted to Customer Portal Manager one year later. In June 2010, she became Websites and Project Manager before leaving the company for London Capital Group in June 2010.
