The FCA in an official press release, believes a firm calling itself LevelTrade has been providing financial services or products in the UK without authorisation. They state to be especially wary of dealing with this unauthorised firm and protect yourself from scammers. Any forex firms and individuals offering, promoting or selling financial services or products in the UK have to be authorised by the FCA. However, some firms act without authorisation and some knowingly run scams.
