Global social trading network eToro has joined the wave of Forex companies sponsoring sports teams in a bid to break the traditional limits of financial marketing. The company today announced a partnership with West Ham United, the famous East London football club.
The agreement will see eToro become the club’s first official social trading partner from the onset of the 2015/16 season.
This three year deal happens at an exciting time for both eToro and West Ham. Recently eToro has secured significant funding from three major banks – Russia’s Sberbank and China’s Ping An, as well as Germany’s Commerzbank.
The social investment expert is also working on its ground-breaking new trading platform, set to be rolled out in the coming months. The new platform supports beginners into the world of investing but also gives more experienced traders and investors the opportunity to manage their funds and get copied by other traders.
West Ham has qualified for next season’s Europa League and are currently recruiting a new manager to take the Club to new heights. As they prepare to say goodbye to the Boleyn Ground next season and move to London’s world-famous former Olympic Stadium in August 2016, they are on course for two of the most exciting seasons in their illustrious history.
