Dukascopy standardizes its maximum binary options contract amount to 5,000 currency units

Swiss electronic trading company Dukascopy Bank has today announced that it has increased the maximum binary options contract amount that it offers across the range of base currencies.

As of today, the maximum contract is $5,000 or equivalent in other base currencies, and the countdown period prior to option start has been decreased from 3 to 2 seconds.

Prior to this change, Dukascopy Bank had set out its trading terms at the time of launch of its binary options trading facility, which offered maximum contract amounts which varied according to the base currency.

Whilst US Dollar base currency binary options have remained at $5,000 since launch, contracts with EUR as base currency were subject to a maximum contract amount of EUR4,000, contracts with a base currency in CHF were subject to a maximum contract amount of CHF4,000 and the maximum contract amount for binary options contracts with GBP as a base currency was £3,000.
