Barry Gershon, ex-Global Head of Metals Trading for Jefferies Bache, is joining international derivatives broker Sucden Financial to further strengthen its strong metals presence. The new role will mainly focus on business development in Europe and the Americas, leveraging Mr Gershon’s vast industry experience.

Michael Overlander, CEO of Sucden Financial said,
“We are excited that Barry is joining our already very strong LME team. Both his knowledge and network will enhance our international base metals business and this appointment complements our recent recruitment of Chris Adams.”
Marc Bailey, Managing Director of Sucden Financial added,
“I am delighted to be working with Barry again. At Jefferies Bache, he created a lot of value within the metals business and I am pleased that he has agreed to bring his expertise here to Sucden Financial.”
