Canadian securities regulator the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) has just announced that it has become aware of a suspicious entity, Astercap Ltd., doing business as Broker Official (together, the Parties).
Broker Official claims to provide an online trading platform for Forex and Contracts for Difference, operating at www.brokerofficial.com website.
Last year CFTC has added the Parties to RED list that illegally targets US traders.
BCSC recently became aware of Broker Official and that it had accepted funds from a British Columbia (BC) resident to trade with the company.
The Parties are not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC.
BCSC has urged BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in BC.
