Aquis Exchange said Monday that it has promoted Noah Liot to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), recognising his leadership in driving the firm’s key technology initiatives since joining in 2023.
Noah Liot Promoted to Chief Technology Officer at Aquis Exchange
Liot originally joined Aquis as Head of Technology Development and is said to have played a pivotal role in delivering some of the company’s most significant technology projects.
The firm added that he has also implemented robust development processes and workflows aimed at enhancing performance and long-term resilience.
Prior to Aquis, Liot held senior roles at AWS, GLIA Ecosystems and Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk.
He also brings experience as a quant trader, which further underpins his strong understanding of financial markets and infrastructure.
In his new position, Liot remains a member of Aquis’ Executive Team and will continue to lead the group’s expanding technology division.
The unit is responsible for providing low-latency exchange technology to both Aquis-operated markets and external clients.
David Stevens, CEO of Aquis Exchange, said: “Since joining us in 2023, Noah has done an excellent job leading the development teams.
“The elevation of Noah to the CTO role signals a step change for our rapidly growing technology division and I am delighted to be announcing Noah’s promotion today.”
Stevens concluded that he has no doubt Liot will “continue to drive the division forward and deliver for Aquis as a whole.”
