Digix lists on Korean exchange to boost its local market presence

Digix, a blockchain platform that allows users to buy gold in divisible units, today announced that its DGX token has been listed on ProBit, a Korean exchange. The listing expands Digix’s presence in Korea following its recent collaboration with Blucon, a Korean-based global digital assets payment platform, which allows Korean residents to make daily purchases using DGX tokens.

Digix’s Co-Founder, Shaun Djie, commented:

As our first collaboration with a Korean exchange, the listing of our DGX token on ProBit is a significant step for us as we look to build a stronger relationship with the Korean market.

Adding:

Known for having a lively crypto community, which makes up approximately 30% of the total cryptocurrency trading worldwide, South Korea is a thriving tech hub and aligns closely with our vision for the mainstream adoption and use of crypto as payment.

Users of ProBit Exchange can now deposit DGX coins and will be able to purchase the tokens as from 5 March 2019 at 15:00 KST. The exchange currently has 57 listed pairs including Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ripple (XRP) and EOS, with the target of having 150 coins listed by year’s end.
