Exness volumes push higher MoM, rising 5% to $173 bln

Exness, a leading CySEC regulated Forex broker has published volume metrics for May 2016, with trading volumes rising 5% MoM to $173.9 bln from April’s $165.6 bln. The annual comparison was down, with May 2015 volumes 20% higher than this year.

Last year during this period, Exness recorded their highest volume months in company history with May 2015 seeing $217.6 bln, which preceded the all-time record high month of June 2015 of $232 bln. June 2015 of course the month where “Grexit” was a constant headline risk, causing back and forth volatility in EUR currency pairs.
