The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has earlier today updated its Warning List, with the latest additions including binary options broker OptionFX.
The company, which operates via www.optionfx.com, provides an address in Switzerland: The World Trade Centre, E205 Leutschenbachstrasse 95, CH-8050 Zurich, Switzerland. However, it is not registered in the commercial register.
By placing OptionFX on the Warning List, the Swiss watchdog highlights the lack of authorization. It will, however, conduct further checks into the regulatory status of the broker. Eventually, the company may be removed from the list but, on the other hand, the watchdog may take enforcement action and even close the company.
