Italy’s regulator warns of binary options brokers Angels Investors, BNR Markets

Italy’s Consob has a reputation of a rigid financial watchdog – at least, this applies to oversight of the binary options industry. If we recall that Consob turned to the court back in the spring of 2013, as it sought to block the websites of certain binary options brokers, we would realize how tough its actions can get.

Today the watchdog issued warnings against two binary options brokers, which are not authorized to provide investment services to Italian investors but nevertheless target Italian clients.

The unauthorized binary options brokers in question are Angels Investors and BNR Markets.

Angels Investors offers binary options services through the website www.angels-investors.com. It claims to be registered under the name PLEA (UK) LIMITED and to have an address in the UK: 129 STATION ROAD, NW4 4NJ, LONDON, UK.

BNR Markets (London) Ltd offers its services through the website www.bnrmarkets.com. It is also operating under the names AMF CAPITAL LIMITED and AMPHA MANAGEMENT LTD, claiming to have addresses in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as the UK.

The watchdog stresses that these companies are not authorized in any way to provide investment services in Italy.
