DMM FX to relocate trading system servers to Equinix TY3 Data Centre

Australian retail Forex broker DMM FX is upgrading its trading system, as the battle amid Forex companies to cut latency and improve trading conditions is obviously becoming more heated.

DMM FX will be relocating its trading system servers to the Equinix TY3 Data Centre.

The move will be implemented during the market closing period, from 10:00 AM (AEST), Saturday August 01, 2015 to 0:00 AM (AEST) Sunday, August 02, 2015. Access to My DMM FX, the registration page and MetaTrader4 (MT4) trading platform will be unavailable during the maintenance period. The DMM FX website will continue to be available and operate as normal.

Talking of Australian Forex brokers seeking to cut latency and using Equinix’s infrastructure to achieve that, we should perhaps mention IC Markets which earlier this month announced it is relocating its cTrader servers to Equinix NY4.
