CLS Group (CLS), the market infrastructure provider of risk mitigation services to the global FX market, has just announced that it has hired Margaret Law as Head of Client Management APAC.

She will be responsible for continuing to grow the client base across the region, as well as the adoption of CLS’s broader portfolio of products and services focusing on three business lines – settlement, processing, and data.

Margaret Law joins CLS from Northern Trust where, as Head of Client Services, she was responsible for managing the local sales team and growing client relationships across Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

Prior to this, she held sales leadership roles across a range of asset classes and for a number of different banks, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, HSBC, Citibank and the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation.

Commenting on the appointment, Joe Ziccarelli, Global Head of Sales, CLS Bank said:

Margaret’s experience in senior roles in the region makes her a perfect candidate for the role at CLS. She has a deep knowledge of the FX industry, as well as longstanding relationships with senior executives across the buy-side in the region. We are looking forward to Margaret continuing to drive our market penetration in the Asia Pacific region.
