LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that UK online brokerage London Capital Group Holdings plc (LON:LCG) has continued to build its management team, hiring forex industry veteran Emilio Lobo as its new Head of Business Development.

Mr. Lobo spent the last year consulting on MiFID II product development and compliance. From 2013-2016 he ran the IronFX representative office in Spain. He was also Director of Sales for JFX.com.
Mr. Lobo will be responsible for building out a business development network for LCG in key European countries and target markets such as Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Germany, and Italy.
LCG has been on a targeted hiring spree the past few months, beginning to ramp up operations after nearly two years of rebuilding the company’s platform and brand. LCG added senior analyst Jasper Lawler from CMC Markets late last year, and engaged with ATP World #3 ranked tennis player Stan Wawrinka as a brand ambassador.
