Abu Dhabi based international financial services firm ADS Securities has continued to build its international management team, announcing today that it has hired Jason Hughes as Global Head of Retail Sales, for its FX and CFD brokerage business.

Mr. Hughes will be based in Abu Dhabi.

Ads-securities-logoJason Hughes joins ADS Securities from CMC Markets Plc (LON:CMCX), where he was Managing Director of the Singapore branch, overseeing all areas of the company’s operations in the country. Previously, he was Head of Premium Client Management at IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG), developing a strategy which focused on providing an efficient and accurate multi-asset execution broking service to HNW clients.

Mr Hughes will report into ADS Securities’ Managing Director and Global Head of Sales, Mathieu Ghanem, who commented:

Jason is one of the best in the business and will be key in driving further success for ADS Securities across all our markets. The experience he brings will be invaluable in confirming our position as the region’s leading financial services trading firm. He will provide a new perspective and take our private client operations to the next level.

Jason Hughes said of his new position at ADS:

Investors are becoming increasingly sophisticated and looking for a trading partner who offers them high quality products and exceptional customer service. I wanted to join ADS Securities because it is one of a very small number of brokerages still investing in technology and looking to the future requirements of its clients. I am delighted to take on this challenge and have the chance to work with such a talented and ambitious team.

Mr. Hughes appointment marks the latest move ADS has made in rebuilding its global management team. The company recently transferred responsibility for its London based FX Prime Brokerage and Prime of Prime business to Paul Webb, with former division head Louisa Kwok leaving the company. ADS recently hired former Advanced Markets and Swissquote executive Nidal Abdelhadi to head the company’s institutional business. And the company also recently added IG Group executive Fabian Chui as Head of Brokerage Risk. Most of those moves were orchestrated by Marco Baggioli, who was promoted to become ADS Securities COO just last week.
