Andrey Dashin's new Cyprus FX firm onboards most of Alpari FS management.

ForexTime logoLeapRate Exclusive..... Well it seems as though Alpari's decision to shut down its Cyprus operation Alpari FS -- at around the same time that Andrey Dashin's new firm ForexTime Ltd received a CySEC CIF license to begin operation -- has provided ForexTime Ltd the opportunity to nab Alpari FS's (former) top management. Note that Dashin was a founder of Alpari, and remains a major Alpari shareholder.

LeapRate has learned that most of Alpari FS's (former) top management, including its Chairman and CEO, will be running ForexTime Ltd. These people include:

New role at ForexTime

Old position at Alpari FS

Olga Rybalkina

CEO

Chairman (and ex-CEO)

George Giannoulakis

COO

CEO

Peter Leonidou

Chief Sales Officer

Head of Sales

George Stylianou

Chief Marketing Officer

Head of Marketing

Antonia Zeniou Droussiotou

Marketing coordinator

Marketing coordinator

ForexTime received its CySEC license in December, and plans a rollout of its new brand and website during Q1. The brand isn't totally new, as it had been operating as a small MT4 firm out of New Zealand. Dashin purchased the ForexTime brand, and the old ForexTime in New Zealand will soon rebrand during Q1.

    Don't Trust ForexTime

It seems odd that ForexTime is using supposed management from a company that failed - Alpari FS! It looks like Andrey Dashin is getting desperate and trying to recuperate losses suffered from his previous company in Cyprus.
Dashin's company (Alpari FS) was known for fraudulent acts, like arbitrary closing accounts without valid reasons; therefore, ForexTime should not be trusted!
And ForexTime's so-called management are not what they appear to be. Let's look at each of them:
Olga Rybalkina (CEO) does not hold a Series 7 license.
Peter Leonidou (CSO) does not hold a Series 3 license.
George Stylianou (CMO) does not have a University/College degree.
Antonia Zeniou (Marketing coordinator) has no experience in online marketing.
Would you trust a broker like this?

    RE:Don't Trust ForexTime

Thanks Simon. We appreciate your comments (Were you an Alpari Cyprus client? Did you specifically have your account closed arbitrarily?), but I think you need to be very careful before criticizing and leveling accusations. Not sure why its important for mgmt of a Cyprus regulated company to hold US securities licenses. And not having a university degree does not mean you can't be a successful manager/businessman, especially in the online world -- Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and many others come to mind.

    RE:RE:Don't Trust ForexTime

Hi Gerald, I wasn't a client of Alpari Cyprus, but as part of the online trading community I know traders who had their accounts closed arbitrarily; subsequently, I was warned not to open an account with them.
As traders, we need a fair shot in forex with transparent brokers and I appreciate being warned from others experiences. I've traded with other brokers without any bad experiences and we all need to be careful of the 'good' and 'bad' brokers out there.
