Managing Director
Gerald spent more than 18 years as an investment banker before founding LeapRate. Most of Gerald’s career was spent at Merrill Lynch, where Gerald was part of the Canada Corporate Finance team, and at Bear Stearns, where he was Managing Director – Technology Investment Banking. He has also acted as advisor to several online trading firms, and to investors in these firms. Gerald holds a BCom degree from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.

David is responsible for all content creation at LeapRate, and brings to LeapRate more than 10 years of experience covering the foreign exchange and fixed income markets. Before joining LeapRate in 2013, David was Chief Market Analyst at FX brokerage AvaFx. Prior to AvaFX David was a Senior Economist for seven years at Goldman Sachs in New York. David holds a BA in Economics from Iona College as well as an MA in Economics from Fordham University.
