BGC Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: BGCP) a global brokerage company servicing the financial and real estate markets, today announced that it has officially completed the acquisition of the businesses of Sunrise Broker Group.
The deal was first announced back in July of this year. Sunrise Brokers is an independent financial brokerage with a reputation in worldwide equity derivatives.
Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Sunrise Brokers had announced intentions per its website to build an OTC currency options team to offer a service in G10 and emerging market vanillas and exotics from its offices in Europe, U.S. and Asia.
