LeapRate has learned that Nick Hamilton has joined institutional electronic FX platform FastMatch as of April 11th, as the Director of Sales – Europe.
Nick joins FastMatch after 3+ years at Citigroup Inc (NYSE:C) where he was responsible for eFX Sales out of London to UK Hedge Funds including Global Macro Hedge Funds, CTAs and Systematic Funds.
Prior to his role at Citi, Nick worked at ICAP plc (LON:IAP) in its EBS unit from 2009-2012 and was responsible for FX sales to EMEA non-banks, including some of the largest eFX market makers on the EBS platform.
Nick Hamilton continue to be based in London and will report directly to Paul Ainsworth, FastMatch Global Head of Sales.
