DMM Option ceases binary options operations

DMM Option, a unit DMM FX Australia and part of the Japan-based DMM Group, today announced that it will stop providing binary options trading to its clients. The halt is scheduled for this Saturday – November 21, 2015.

The company says its focus will be on Forex products, which will still be delivered by DMM FX Australia.

Client funds will be returned by Monday, December 14, 2015.

DMM had made some changes to its binary options offering in the past year, including a switch to the MarketsPulse platform. But apparently binary trading just didn’t take off at DMM, leading to the current decision.

Binary Option service closure

DMM Option wishes to advise that we will cease providing Binary Option accounts and trading services as of Saturday 21 November, 2015 (AEDT). Our focus will ensure we continue to deliver a market leading FOREX product that traders demand through the DMM FX Forex Standard Account services at www.dmmfx.com.au.

In an effort to provide the highest quality of service to our existing customers, DMM Option will transfer any remaining Binary Option balance to the funds source of origination you have deposited by Monday 14 December, 2015 (AEDT).
