Japan’s FSA adds binary options firm Marblestone Partners to Warning List

Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) has earlier today added another company to the Warning List, which includes the names of business that offer derivatives trading to Japanese investors without having the proper authorization.

The new entry to the Warning List is Marblestone Partners Ltd, the owner of numerous binary options brands, including TradeRush, BossCapital and Altivex.

Although Marblestone provides an address of registration in the UK, the websites of its brands have Japanese-language versions. This means that the companies offer derivatives trading to Japanese investors and, hence, need authorization from the Japanese regulators.

Earlier this year, in April, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) also published a warning regarding Marblestone, referring in particular to its binary options brand TradeRush, which is not authorized to offer investment services in the Canadian province.
