GAIN Capital appoints former KCG Hotspot executive John Miesner as Head of Global Sales for GTX

GAIN Capital announced today that John Miesner has joined as Managing Director, Head of Global Sales for GTX, the company’s institutional FX ECN. Formerly the Global Head of Sales at KCG Hotspot, Mr. Miesner will be responsible for global ECN sales and will be based in New York.

Mr. Miesner is the latest addition to the GTX team. Other recent hires include former Hotspot Sales Director Tom Marano in New York; Nicolas Ohlin, the former head of liquidity at 360T who is leading APAC sales for GTX out of Singapore; and Keith Mash, Paul Spillman and Peter Snasdell, who joined from Marex Spectron to establish a new GTX agency desk in London.
