In a new SEC filing yesterday Gain Capital (NYSE:GCAP) has indicated that its CMO Samantha Roady, who technically holds the title of Chief Commercial Officer, sold 8,000 shares at a price of $7.00, pocketing approximately $56,000.
Gain Capital shares spiked this week, gaining over 12% on Tuesday alone after an upgrade and remain up double digits percent wise for the week. The shares now sit Friday afternoon at $7.33. It is always a safe bet to sell into strength so I guess Mr. Roady figured now is a good time in the current environment to sell of a chunk of shares, especially back above the $7 handle.

Back in September, Mrs. Roady also claimed $111K from an exercise of options and share sale.
